Bodu is a service app aimed at helping users search for service workers within their radius, such as hair stylists/dressers, nail technicians etc. The client wanted a visual developed design (which was more static) to be able transform their idea to a product.
The brief was to create and develop a visual front-end design for our client to be able visualise and conceptualise their idea. The client wanted a pure simple prototype website design to display to potential investors. We therefore created and developed a more friendly playful online presence, while at the same time reflecting the values and vision of the service app platform.

Final design ready for development
Display of the product's designs. After presenting the design explorations, this was now transformed to code to bring the designs to live in order for the client to understand and visualise the design intent in an interactive manner. The aim was to create a clear and frictionless journey, and in doing so to improve brand perception while maintaining and supporting an increase in conversion & traffic.
conclusion
Project summary

There are many benefits of having an online dummy front-end prototype design. The prototyping designs definitely helped our client eliminate misunderstandings and miscommunications when it came to what they intended to communicate to their potential investors and possible developers. The prototyping improved the quality of requirements and specifications provided to the client. Our client now had, not only a business plan, but an interactive design that they were able to present to investors as well as their developers.

  • challenge #0
    Restricted Budget
Due to a restricted budget we were only able to effectively help our client create more of a static design front-end page. Given more funding the website could have been designed to be more dynamic and interactive, thereby giving our client's visitors a more enhancing user experience in playing with the demo.

    Insufficient analysis
A focus on a limited prototype distracted us from properly analyzing the complete design. Due to incomplete specification, which distracted the design process. Even still we were able to effectively look into better solutions to sufficiently engineer and developed a final front-end prototype design.
